US security adviser: US aims to boost economy, trade, security ties with Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump’s APEC participation and his official visit to Vietnam this weekend aim to strengthen US cooperative ties with Vietnam in economy, trade, and security, US security advisor H.R. McMaster told reporters ahead of President Trump’s Asia tour.

The two countries will discuss ways to further mutual understanding, and foster relationship.
McMaster said Trump’s speech at this week’s APEC summit will focus on boosting economic growth and prosperity and strengthening security cooperation.
