US seeks to sign trade deal with China mid-November
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump said Friday that he hopes a US-China trade agreement will be signed when he and Chinese President Xi Jin-ping meet in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Chile next month.

Trump added that working sessions between the two countries are going well.
The White House said in a report that China has agreed to raise its import of US farm products to 50 billion USD per year, in accordance to the 1st phase of a trade deal reached last week. US officials said the 2nd phase of negotiations can resolve issues of technology transfer and non-financial services.
