US to deploy more troops to border with Mexico
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he will have to direct more American troops to the US-Mexico border to prevent illegal immigration to the US.

He told a round-table event in Texas that he is working with Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan to handle the immigration crisis at the southern border. The Pentagon says the Department of Defense is shifting 1 billion USD from a drug prevention program to build a fence at the southern border with Mexico.
