(VOVworld) – US Trade Representative Michael Froman has expressed his hope of completing the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations between the US and 11 Asia Pacific countries soon and sending the deal to the US Congress for ratification before the end of this year.

At an event in Washington held by Politico on Wednesday, Froman said the US will have conversations with other TPP participants in the coming days and prepare for a chief negotiators meeting and a ministerial meeting to bring this deal to a close, but declined to give a specific timetable.
