(VOVworld) – US Department of State spokeswoman Jen Psaki told a press conference on Monday that the US has urged the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to stop any action that may escalate tension and accelerate denuclearisation for “reliable talks” in the future.

Republic of Korea news agency Yonhap said on Sunday that the DPRK launched 5 tactical missiles to the Sea of Japan, following a previous launch 2 days ago of new anti-ship missiles in Wonsan. The US State Department has not confirmed the story.
