US, Vietnam launch new project to reduce environmental pollution (Photo: VOV)

The new 11.3 million USD project, Reducing Pollution, will be implemented during the next five years to help Vietnam reduce environmental pollution and connect stakeholders in this effort. 

At the launch ceremony, USAID’s Vietnam Mission Director Aler Grubbs said the Reducing Pollution project is an important part of the collaboration between USAID and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. 

She said it will raise awareness and promote Vietnamese-led actions to reduce environmental pollution and help Vietnam achieve its goals concerning climate change response.
