Uzbekistan wants to develop strategic partnership with Russia
(VOVworld) – Uzbek Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyoyev told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday that Uzbekistan wanted to maintain and develop strategic relations with Russia.

Shavkat stressed that political relations between Uzbekistan and Russia were a strategic partnership. He added that both countries would continue to strengthen their bilateral relations which had been built by Russian President Vladimir Putin and late Uzbek Prime Minister Islam Karimov over the course of many years.
