(VOVworld) - Vallet scholarships were awarded to 272 outstanding students from the central provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri during a ceremony in Quang Binh on Friday, worth over 2 billion VND.

There was a special scholarship presented to Nguyen The Quynh from Quang Binh who won a gold medal at the 2016 International Physics Olympiad in Switzerland. Speaking at the event, Professor Odon Vallet pledged to continue standing side by side with poor students with excellent academic results in the future. Over the past 16 years, Odon Vallet has used his own money to finance the grants for excellent young students in France and Vietnam.
