Van Don International Airport to resume commercial flights from May 4

(VOVWORLD) - The Van Don International Airport will resume commercial flights next Monday, starting with the Van Don-Ho Chi Minh city route.

Pandemic measures will be maintained, particularly for flights from affected areas. Authorities will continue to enforce special boarding procedures to avoid cross-infection.

The airport will open new routes to Phu Quoc and Nha Trang in the fourth quarter and is considering new charter routes to Van Don from China and South Korea once those countries have the COVID-19 pandemic under control.

Passengers using Van Don international airport may now be able to take advantage of free tickets to Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu, free bus service between Ha Long and Van Don, 50% discount on cable car service in Yen Tu, and discounted tickets at Sun Group entertainment complexes across Vietnam, including Sun World Ha Long Complex, Sun World Ba Na Hills, Sun World Hon Thom Nature Park, and all Sun Group hotels and resorts.
