(VOVworld)- A delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee led by its Vice President and Secretary General Vo Trong Kim delivered Christmas greetings to the Bac Ninh diocese on Wednesday. Mr. Kim praised the local Catholic followers’ active participation in social activities and movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front. He asked the Bac Ninh diocese to mobilize Catholic followers and dignitaries to continue to actively respond to VFF activities and movements in the future. He urged Bishop Cosma Hoang Van Dat of the Bac Ninh diocese, who is Secretary General of the Vietnam Archbishops’ Council, to mobilize and facilitate Catholic followers to participate in elected agencies, the Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity. Bishop Cosma Hoang Van Dat expressed his hope that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Bac Ninh authorities will continue to support Catholic followers.
