VFF should promote key role in national great unity bloc: Party leader
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has called on the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to step up their key role in reinforcing national unity and national construction and defense.

Addressing the VFF’s national conference on Monday on implementing the 13th National Party Congress’s resolution. Mr. Trong said the VFF should stick to the goal of national independence and socialism, and resolutely safeguarding national independence and sovereignty, thus maintaining socio-political stability for national construction.
“VFF and its member organisations also need to strengthen communications and education work, while protecting the ideological foundation of the Party through preventing and defeating “peaceful evolution” plots by hostile forces, and fighting wrongful, reactionary and politically opportunist arguments and ideas,” said Mr. Trong.
The Party leader said that the creativity of people from all walks of life should be embraced to successfully reach all socio-economic development goals.
