President of the VFF Central Committee Do Van Chien praised their efforts to use technological advances to fulfill their tasks this year despite the COVID-19 social distancing mandate. President Chien urged the five localities (Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, HCM City, and Can Tho) to devise a plan to assist policy beneficiaries, war veterans, martyrs’ families, and those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival.

“A joyous New Year celebration for all is our ultimate goal. The VFF will work with its local affiliates to make the coming Tet a festival of kindness,” said Chien.          

Chien called for renovating the content and method of oversight, social criticism, and public opinion polls on issues of legitimate rights and interests.
