Vice President holds bilateral meetings on the sidelines of CICA Conference
(VOVWORLD) -Attending the sixth Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Astana, Kazakhstan, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan on Thursday had meetings with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

At the meetings, the leaders praised Vietnam’s role and contribution within CICA framework and said they consider Vietnam an important partner in the Asia-Pacific region.

Vice President Xuan and the leaders agreed to continue to increase delegation exchanges, especially at high levels, to work closely to promote cooperation in economics, trade, investment, tourism, infrastructure development, transportation and marine economy, commensurate with the potential and importance of the relationship between Vietnam and other countries.
