(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan asked Lam Dong province to promote the patriotism emulation movements in all fields, considering it as a target for development.

Speaking at the 5^th patriotism emulation congress in Lam Dong province on Friday, Ms. Doan said the province needs to create a breakthrough in its emulation movements, focusing on applying a knowledge-based economy and science and technology in production in order to raise competitiveness for international integration. At the event, the Vice President presented the Labor Order to 12 individuals for their contributions to socioeconomic development.

On the same day, Ms. Doan presented 120 scholarships from the Vietnam Children Patronage Fund Council to disadvantaged students with excellent academic results in Lam Dong province.
