(VOVworld) – Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh paid a Lunar New Year visit to Vietnamese heroic mothers, underprivileged children, and poor families in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai on Tuesday.

Ms. Thinh presented 100 scholarships from the Vietnamese Children Sponsoring Fund to children living in the province’s social centre. The Vice President also visited and presented scholarships and gifts to local ethnic minority people in Ia Phi Commune, Chu Pah District. Ms. Thinh asked local people to follow Vietnam’s heroic tradition and be united in building a more prosperous life.
