Vice President presents gifts to poor households in Yen Bai province
(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh on Saturday presented gifts to 50 policy beneficiary and poor households and 100 underprivileged children in Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai province.

She also presented 2,000 USD to the district’s Fund for the Poor. Vice President Thinh, who is also Chairwoman of the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, praised local socio-economic development, emulation movements, and achievements in poverty reduction. She asked local authorities to step up poverty reduction and tap tourism potential to boost the local economy and improve people’s live.
