Vu Duyen Hai from the Administration of Aquaculture of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development says better planning and application of advanced technology will be applied to promote shrimp farming as a sustainable key export item:“We will rearrange our farming structure to encourage farmers to participate in collectives to increase the productivity and ensure better quality, especially breed quality. We expect to lower production cost, control diseases and food safety through international cooperation and removal of technical barriers for better market access.”
