Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific offer additional 1,300 seats during Lunar New Year
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific (a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines) are operating 7 additional flights serving 1,300 passengers, until Wednesday between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city, to meet increased demand before Tet.
The Vietnam Airlines flights will depart at 14h50 from Hanoi and at 18h00 from Ho Chi Minh city each day. Jetstar Pacific will launch just one Ho Chi Minh City-Hanoi flight at 10h30 on Tuesday.
So far this month, domestic flight bookings for Vietnam Airlines has been at a record 99% of capacity. The Airports Corporation of Vietnam estimates that the number of arrivals and departures at Tan Son Nhat International Airport will be 4 million, 25% more than the last Tet period.
