Vietnam and China reaffirm their partnership

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam attaches great importance and gives top priority to the development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Friday.

During their meeting in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Prime Minister Chinh congratulated the success of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He expressed his belief that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as the nucleus, the Chinese people will successfully realize the goals and tasks set out by the Congress.
Premier Li affirmed China’s support for Vietnam in building an independent and self-reliant economy and deepening its effective international integration.
The two leaders emphasized that their governments will continue to produce concrete results of the Vietnam-China Joint Statement on "Continuing to promote and deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership" reached during the recent visit to China by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
