(VOVworld) – Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong received Bounthong Chitmany, head of Laos’ Central Inspection Committee and Government Chief Inspector in Hanoi on Tuesday.

The Lao official briefed Mr. Trong on cooperation between the two Parties’ Inspection Committees and the two countries’ inspectorates in recent years. He pledged continued cooperation in the implementation of agreements in the field. Mr. Trong said that the Vietnamese Party, state, and people value and will continue to develop their special friendship with Laos, contributing to regional and global peace, stability, cooperation, and development.
