(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development signed a co-operative agreement on food crop study and development from 2013-2017 together with the Mozambican Embassy in Hanoi. The agreement is expected to train Mozambican researchers and build food crops models that could improve rice productivity, reduce rice imports, and experiment with models for soybean, sweet potato, and vegetables. It also aims to ensure food security and improve the income of Mozambican farmers.
