(VOVworld) – New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said Vietnam and New Zealand have many opportunities to expand bilateral ties.

Speaking to a Vietnamese News Agency correspondent during Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung’s visit to New Zealand, Mr. Key hailed the visit, saying that the visit, accompanied by Vietnamese representatives in various fields, will deepen and further develop bilateral ties. Prime Minister Key called Vietnam an important partner of New Zealand. The two countries hope to achieve a two-way trade turnover of 1 billion USD this year.
