Vietnam, Angola step up cooperation
(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh began an official visit to Angola at the invitation of his Angolan counterpart Georges Rebelo Chicoti on Wednesday. During a two-day visit, the two diplomats shared their views on bilateral relations in recent years and discussed measures to boost cooperation in investment and commerce. The two sides agreed to conduct negotiations for the early signing of a framework agreement on cooperation in social welfare, poverty reduction, labour, and vocational training. Angola pledged support for Vietnamese citizens living and working in Angola.

Minister Minh also met with Vice President Manuel Vicente, the Minister of Petroleum, and the Minister of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security.
