Deputy Minister Doan Mau Diep said the indicators were intended to provide leaders from ministries and relevant agencies, and domestic and international organizations with specific performance indicators for child protection, and education nationwide. Diep said: “The seminar is a good opportunity for ministries, relevant agencies, and those in charge of children’s issues in localities and international organizations to contribute opinions to improving the ranking. They will also have a clearer view of child care, protection, and education in Vietnam. Through each group of indicators, we will know which areas should be invested in more.
