(VOVworld) – Vietnam has shared its efforts and outcomes in implementing the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC)’s Master Plan at the just concluded ASCC Council meeting in Bagan, Myanmar.

Speaking at the event which ended on Tuesday, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs Nguyen Thanh Hoa said the bloc should soon finalize the ASEAN Joint Statement on Climate Change and a draft document on the protection and promotion of migrant workers’ rights. Hoa called on participants to play a more active role in working out the socio-cultural contents of the post-2015 ASEAN vision.
