Vietnam attends the 44th WEF in Davos

(VOVworld) – The 44th World Economic Forum has opened in Davos, Switzerland with the participation of 2500 delegates from more than 100 countries from around the world. The Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, will take part in official sessions, bilateral activities, and dialogues with businesses interested in Vietnam. As scheduled, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh will deliver a speech at the meeting entitled “Reshaping ASEAN and impacts on East Asian growth”. He will also take part in the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders (IGWEL).

Entitled “Reshaping the World: social, political, and business impacts”, this year’s Economic World Forum is a rendezvous where 250 top political leaders, and heads of international organizations will meet business CEOs to discuss measures for global management in a more positive and constructive manner. The meeting is also expected to discuss social and political changes in other parts of the world.
