Receiving Ambassador Robyn Mudie, whose mission in Vietnam ends, General Giang said that the two Defense Ministries will continue to study the expansion of cooperation to cybersecurity, military trade, defense research exchange, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief.
As the two countries will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2023, General Giang said he hopes that Vietnam and Australia will conduct many meaningful activities to mark this important milestone.
Ambassador Mudie affirmed that in her new position, she will work to promote relations between the two countries, including defense relations and especially United Nations peacekeeping activities.
