At a seminar on Monday in Ho Chi Minh city, the Federation said lawyers have upheld their role in ensuring justice and protecting the rights and interests of organizations and individuals to build a democratic, fair, and civilized Socialist State governed by law.

Head of the media agency at the Vietnam Bar Federation, lawyer Nguyen Van Hau, underscored the importance of recognizing exemplary lawyers and law firms and pledged to continue to fulfill key tasks according to the Resolution of the Party Central Committee on building and perfecting the rule of law state in the new period.

"This includes contributing to the development of legislation to enhance the institution for lawyers and law practice, and improving the quality of self-management of professional activities. We’ll also expand our international relations, providing Vietnamese lawyers with opportunities to exchange ideas and study with their international colleagues," Hau said.
