He made the statement while receiving a delegation from the Belgium-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, headed by the group’s Chairman Georges Dallemagne, in Hanoi on Thursday.
The delegation’s visit to Vietnam is intended to deepen the friendship between the Parliamentarians’ Groups of the two countries and between their legislative bodies. Mr Luu said he hopes the Belgum’s Parliament will press the EU to approve the European Union-Việt Nam Free Trade Agreement.
Chairman Dallemagne said the development of parliamentary ties between Belgium and Vietnam contributes to fostering relations between the two countries.
