Nguyen Thanh Xuan broke the men's 65kg ASEAN Para Games record with a 171kg lift, while swimmer Pham Anh Tu won the men’s 400m freestyle with a record time of 5 minutes and 37.82 seconds. Late Saturday, Vietnam ranked 3^rd in the medal tally with 74 medals, including 24 gold, trailing Malaysia and Thailand, who led with 35 gold medals.
