During 35 years of establishment and development, the Buddhist Shangha has set up branches in all 63 provinces of Vietnam and abroad, and gained remarkable achievements.
The Shangha has developed four universities, 34 Buddhist colleges, and eight college-level courses in Buddhist studies. More than 7,000 monks and nuns graduate from these training institutions every year with masters and doctors degrees.
The Shangha successfully organized the UN Days of Vesak in 2008 and 2014 and the ASEAN Buddhist Summit in 2016.
