Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has expressed his hope that Japan will continue to maintain and increase ODA for Vietnam. Phuc made the statement at a reception in Hanoi yesterday for the Japanese International Cooperation Agency’s visiting Vice President Arakawa Hiroto. He asked JICA to continue its supportive role during Vietnam-Japan Friendship Year next year, the 40^th year of their diplomatic ties. Hiroto said the organization will continue its efforts to increase mutual understanding and trust.
