At a program held on Sunday by the Ministry of Education and Training, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha thanked teachers and education managers, underlining the Vietnamese people’s tradition of treasuring education and teachers.

The same day, 200 outstanding teachers and education managers in 2023 were honored by the Ministry. Pham Thi Trang Nhung, teacher at Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted in Ha Nam province, said: "I’m proud to be one of the honorees here today. I feel the urge to work harder and more responsibly to contribute more to our country’s educational development."
