Vietnam, China sign 36 cooperation documents
(VOVWORLD) - Thirty-six cooperation documents were signed between Vietnamese and Chinese ministries, agencies, sectors and localities during General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping’s State visit to Vietnam.

The 36 agreements include 4 agreements on politics and foreign affairs signed between the Party committees and the Foreign Ministries of the two countries, 4 on cooperation on security and defense and crime prevention, cooperation at sea and cooperation in the judicial sector, 24 agreements on bilateral cooperation at the Government, Ministry and agency levels and 4 agreements on cooperation between localities of the two countries.
Worth of note is a plan on cooperation in promoting connectivity between the “Two Corridors, One Belt” framework and the “Belt and Roald” initiative, an agreement on strengthening road connectivity and railway cooperation in the border areas of the two countries, and a Memorandum of Understanding on promoting investment cooperation in green development.
