Vietnamese Defense Minister Ngo Xuan Lich and his Chinese counterpart Wei Fenghe will be leading the Vietnamese and Chinese delegations during the event. Speaking in a press briefing on Wednesday in Hanoi, Major General Nguyen Dai Hoi, Deputy Chief of Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense said the exchange program has promoted bilateral friendship and cooperation after five years of implementation. Mr. Hoi said: “The exchange program shows both peoples that leaders from both countries have well implemented senior leaders’ viewpoints to promote Vietnam-China friendship and cooperation. This will build up trust in the two Parties and Defense Ministries’ guidelines for a bilateral border of peace, friendship, stability and cooperation for development.
