Vietnam Communist Party attaches importance to developing relations with Russia’s political parties
(VOVWORLD) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said on Monday that Vietnam treasures its traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia and the Communist Party of Vietnam attaches great importance to developing relations with Russian political parties.

Party General Secretary Trong was speaking at a reception for Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Vichtorovich Volodin in Hanoi.
He also highlighted some major orientations guiding the development of Vietnam-Russia ties in the near future.
Chairman Volodin said the Russian State Duma always supports enhancing Russia’s comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam. Russia always considers Vietnam a priority partner in its foreign policy in the Asia-Pacific region.
The same day, Mr. Volodin met President Vo Van Thuong and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh before concluding his 2-day official visit to Vietnam.
