Vietnam confirms 20,076 new cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours
(VOVWORLD) - From 4pm on Thursday to 4pm on Friday, the National System of COVID-19 Case Management recorded 20,076 new cases, a decrease of 2,936 cases compared to the previous day, the Ministry of Health said. The number of recoveries in the day was 6,417, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,863,044.

Countries and organizations have committed to donate 16.8 million doses of vaccines against COVID-19 for children from 5 to under 12 years old in Vietnam. Quang Ninh is the first locality to carry out inoculation on Thursday. Ho Chi Minh City is expected to start vaccination for children of this age group on Saturday, and Hanoi on Sunday.
