Quan, also head of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, was received by Xi Jinping in Beijing on Monday. The Vietnamese guest said that the Party, State and people of Vietnam are delighted at the success of the CPC’s 19th Congress.

He affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always treasure the development of neighborliness and comprehensive cooperation with the CPC and State of China, wishing that both sides would partner to realize common perceptions reached by the two Parties and countries’ leaders. Vietnam appreciates and welcomes the upcoming state visit to Vietnam by General Secretary Xi and his attendance at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting 2017, he noted.

Xi, for his part, said the CPC and himself always highly value ties with Vietnam. He voiced his support for Vietnam’s hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2017 and conveyed his regards to the Vietnamese Party chief and other Party and State leaders.
