Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nghia reaffirmed Vietnam’s unwavering support for Cuba’s efforts to overcome socio-economic challenges and highlighted the continuous strengthening of political and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

He emphasized that General Secretary and President To Lam’s state visit to Cuba in September 2024 marked a significant milestone, elevating bilateral relations to new heights and opening opportunities for expanded cooperation in economic, trade, and investment sectors.

Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes noted that Vietnam-Cuba relations are experiencing comprehensive and sustainable growth, with both countries actively collaborating in politics, economics, trade, investment, and culture.
