Vietnam, Cuba tighten fraternity, traditional friendship
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam will stay side by side with Cuba in the struggle for the goals and ideals of socialism, said Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at a reception for Chairman of the Cuban National Assembly Esteban Lazo Hernandez in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Mr. Trong said he believes that the Cuban NA Chairman’s visit will contribute to enhancing the exemplary fraternity, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and solidarity between the 2 countries. Chairman Hernandez congratulated Vietnam on its achievements over the past 30 years of reform, describing them as valuable experience for Cuba. He affirmed Cuba’s determination to deepen relations between the two Parties, legislative bodies and people. The Cuban top legislator is on an official visit to Vietnam from June 11-18.
