(VOVworld)- Vietnam’s presentations at the 25th session of the UN Human Rights Council over the past 5 days in Geneva reflected the viewpoint of Vietnam and ASEAN as Vietnam is the ASEAN Coordinator of 2014. During the 4-week meeting, the Vietnamese delegation contributed greatly to the discussion and adoption of several resolutions and decisions. Vietnam closely worked with the Council’s members to promote dialogues to eliminate biased approaches. Vietnam also co-sponsored the draft resolutions on economic, cultural and social rights, children’s rights to legal approaches, anti-violence against children and the rights to culture and cultural diversity. Over the past two days, the UN Human Rights Council adopted more than 30 resolutions.
