(VOVworld) – Vietnam is one of the countries having highest startup spirit in the world, said Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vu Tien Loc.

A global startup network survey reported that 76% Vietnamese adults consider business is a respected profession, 74% adults wish to be a businessman, and 1 in 5 adults plans for a startup in the next 3 years. Loc said the next 5 years should be 5 years of national startup, and Vietnam should focus on business development. Loc said: “Creative startup has emerged as the most important requirement of Vietnam’s economy. We should have at least 1 million businesses by 2020, which means we have to double the number of our businesses in 5 years. This marks a breakthrough in the business development policy in Vietnam.”
