Vietnam diplomat vows to make active contributions to ASEAN
(VOVWORLD) - Outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia Hoang Anh Tuan, at a Tuesday meeting with Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, pledged to do his utmost in his new position as ASEAN’s Deputy Secretary-General.

He vowed to help ASEAN become a people-centered organization of pragmatic cooperation for its members’ common prosperity, as well as peace and stability in the region and around the world.
Tuan is scheduled to meet with Indonesian Maritime and Fisheries Minister Susi Pudjiastuti on Thursday to promote bilateral cooperation.
