Vietnam, DPRK exchange congratulations on 70 years of diplomatic ties
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and DPRK leaders exchanged telegrams of congratulation on the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

In a telegram sent to DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, Prime Minister Kim Jae-ryong, and Chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly Pak Thae-song, the Vietnamese leaders said the traditional partnership built by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il-sung has overcome historical challenges and has seen new development recently. In particular President Kim Jong-un’s visit to Vietnam last March was an important milestone in the relationship. The telegram said the Vietnamese Party and State treasure and hope to continue to strengthen the bilateral relationship.
The DPRK leaders expressed their hope that the relationship with Vietnam will be further enhanced in the near future.
