(VOVworld) - Vietnam's foreign ministry voiced objections to a Canada’s bill on the so-called “Journey to Freedom Act”. Spokesman Le Hai Binh on Friday condemned the bill, saying it contained "misinformation," "distortions of historical fact" about Vietnam’s struggle for national independence and unification. He said it was a step backward in bilateral relations. Vietnamese Foreign Ministry protested the issue and expressed Vietnam’s view to Canadian Ambassador on April 24.
