Vietnam eyes 6-6.5% GDP growth in 2024
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam targets GDP growth of 6-6.5% and per capita income of 4,700 USD next year, according to a new National Assembly resolution.
NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Friday signed a decision to issue the resolution on the socio-economic development plan for 2024 adopted earlier this month.
Vietnam’s poverty rate is set to decrease by over 1% and the health insurance coverage will be 94.1% of the population.
Vietnam will continue to prioritise pushing economic growth associated with consolidating and maintaining macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, and ensuring major balances of the economy.
