Vietnam Fatherland Front’s conference closes
(VOVworld) – Delegates to a 2-day conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have approved an action plan for this year. They also signed off on the conference’s resolution. Front Chairman Nguyen Thien Nhan said this year the organization will continue to renovate its operations to better reflect people’s aspirations and opinions. It will also enact new measures to collect ideas of overseas Vietnamese in developing and defending the nation.
Nhan said that more attention will be paid to caring about social beneficiaries, ensuring social insurance, and supervising the management and use of agricultural tools: “We should listen to the people and try our best to gain their trust. Our supervision program this year will focus on the implementation of policies for social beneficiaries. This is the only national supervision program that the Vietnam Fatherland Front carries out in coordination with local governments.”
