Vietnam finishes third at ASEAN Para Games 2023
(VOVWORLD) -On Friday, the last day of the ASEAN Para Games 2023 in Cambodia, the Vietnamese team gained another silver medal from badminton player Hoang Thi Hong Thao, the 201st medal of the Games for Vietnam.

Vietnam pocketed 66 gold, 58 silver, and 77 bronze medals, finishing third in the medal tally after Indonesia and Thailand. The athletes with disability have surpassed their targets of wining 50-55 gold medals and entering the top 4.
The 12th ASEAN Para Games took place from June 3 to 9 in Cambodia and more than 1,400 athletes from 11 countries competed in 14 sports.
The Vietnamese delegation consists of 120 athletes who competed in eight sports at the tournament.
