(VOVworld) – France will organize a France Year in Vietnam next year to mark the 40th anniversary of their diplomatic ties. Director of the French Program in Vietnam Benoit Paumier told Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Hua Ngoc Thuan in HCM city on Monday that the program will include a food festival, a concert by the Paris Symphony Orchestra, and art performances.

France will host a Vietnam Year in early 2014. Through the creative showcase of the program, visitors will explore each country’s history, heritages, traditions, and contemporary life. The aim of the program is to enhance Vietnam-France relations in economics, culture, education, science, and sports.
