Deputy Minister of Education and Training Tran Quang Quy said at the signing ceremony that the cooperation will create a better link between enterprises and educational institutions to train professional manpower to meet society’s needs. He said: We’ve been working with the German Business Association in Vietnam. There are currently 160 German businesses here. They all need high-quality employees who can meet the requirements of production and operations. And they want to help vocational schools prepare more skilful workers. So the agreement is what we were expecting.
Under the agreement, German businesses operating in Vietnam will take on local students as interns. Experts in those businesses will consult with schools to build a curriculum and standards for each sector of training and assist in professional skill training for teachers. Both sides will implement several projects on developing human resources.
